2026 AGS Employment Law Conference

Join us at AGS’s Employment Law Conference on Wednesday 18 November 2026.

The Employment Law Conference brings together AGS employment and industrial relations specialists who have a unique and deep understanding of the legal and practical challenges facing Commonwealth employers. The conference will focus on recent developments in employment and industrial relations law and their practical application within the government environment.

This year's conference will explore a wide range of emerging and contemporary issues, including:

APS bargaining and broader industrial relations developments
AI and other technological developments in the workplace
flexible work and the continuing implementation of the Closing Loopholes reforms
neurodiversity in the workplace

AGS legal training is for Australian Government employees only.

AGS Educational Training and Events attract CLE/CPD points.

AGS engages external catering companies to provide meals and refreshments at our events. Your dietary requirements will be passed on to them and they will identify ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction for those with food allergies. However, there is always risk of contamination in a commercial kitchen and there could be traces of some allergen ingredients. Individuals with food allergies must be aware of this risk. The caterers will not assume any liability for adverse reactions from the food consumed, that one may come in contact with whilst eating any of the labelled ordered meals.
