The Administrative Law Conference 2024 gathers together AGS administrative law specialists and leaders in the legal area to discuss some of the most important issues of our time, including Artificial Intelligence, and major changes to the Commonwealth’s administrative review framework, including the establishment of the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART).
The Conference features presentations exploring recent administrative law cases and decisions, as well as discussions about what changes could be expected on how matters are heard and applications determined in the new ART. Key speakers include Geoff McCarthy, Senior Member, ART, NSW Supreme Court Justice Anna Mitchelmore, Judge Arran Gerrard of the Federal Circuit and Family Court and AGS’s Chief Counsel Tim Begbie KC. The conference will also include a presentation on the latest privacy reforms.
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided.
This event will be in-person only and no recording will be made for later distribution.
