2024 AGS Employment Law Conference 2024
The Employment Law Conference brings together a panel of AGS’s employment law specialists who have a unique and deep understanding of how employment and industrial law issues intersect with the complexities of managing a workforce within the government environment. Speakers will focus on the practical application of current legal developments.
A wide range of emerging issues in the field of employment law will be covered, including:
- how to deal with dual claims of adverse action and mental injury
- providing satisfactory medical evidence
- a look at the APS common conditions in practice
- labour hire arrangements.
The conference will also feature a helpful litigation roundup, recent employment law decisions and their potential impact on the management of your workforce and the highly regarded ‘hypothetical scenario’ session. We will be launching a new early-bird opt-in session where a selection of attendees’ questions about workplace legal issues will be answered.
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided.
This event will be in-person only and no recording will be made for later distribution.
AGS Conferences are for Australian Government employees only. The Employment Law Conference attracts 5 CPD points.
